On Emotional Honesty

I’ve been reflecting a lot this week on how important it is to focus on being loving to myself rather than any kind of pushing or striving to be ‘healthy’. As some of you know with my daughter having been sick the past few weeks and with my current crazy work schedule, I have gone a little into survival mode and I’m feeling pretty exhausted.

This whole past week I have been lost in a daze of complete surrender to motherhood. As some of you know my baby girl has been really sick and I literally have not slept for more than a few hours at a time for a week.

That means that in the past 3 years I have never been on my own for more than a few hours at a time and during those few hours I have usually had to be thinking about someone else or had some kind of time frame or schedule to fit in to.
