Vanilla Bean Messy Sundae

Sometimes food is just pure fun.  I’ve had my daughter home on her Summer Holidays and suddenly cooking and meal creations has become the funnest game.
So I dedicate this recipe to all you mammas out there that have just had your children land at home for 7 weeks.  And to all you beauties that aren’t yet parents, this one is for you to just be a big kid and have some delicious fun.

We had some left over Vanilla Bean Choc Chip Nice Cream and decided to make a great big mess out of it that ended up tasting AMAZING! So I wanted to share it with you all too.

You will need to have made the Vanilla Bean Choc Chip Nice Cream first so hit the link here to get started.  Once that’s done all you need to do is make the Salted Miso Caramel and start ramming in as much nice-cream, caramel, strawberries and cookies into a jar as you can and making sure you have the biggest spoon to eat it with.

INGREDIENTS(Serve 4-6)

Salted Miso Caramel

  • 150g Medjool Dates
  • 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 3 Tbsp Almond Milk
  • Pinch Sea Salt

Method:
– First blend all the ingredients for the Salted Miso Caramel in a high speed blender or food processor until really smooth.
– Then in a sundae dish or jar layer scoops of Vanilla Bean Choc Chip Nice Cream, Fresh berries, cookies, and salted miso caramel.
– Repeat until you fill the dish.
– Get a great big spoon and attack! Enjoy x
